The hotel is situated 5 minutes from the airport and just outside the town of Santa Fe. The centre of Granada can be reached in fifteen minutes by car and the ski resort of Sierra Nevada in approximately one hour.

The Capitulaciones Hotel is housed in a white brick building with an extremely large yet minimalist façade. The tall windows above the main entrance let plenty of light into the spacious lobby, which is modern and minimalist in design, with a lovely dark wooden reception desk. There is also a comfortable seating area and cafeteria situated to the left of the reception area. The soundproofed guest rooms are decorated in a modern style, with off-white walls and wooden floors. Details such as minimalist light fittings and modern technological equipment add to their appeal. The hotel's "La Pulga" restaurant was founded in 1965 by Juan Perez Bueno and Josefa Camacho Vargas and moved to the lower ground floor of Capitulaciones in May 2000. Its menu is focused wholly on natural products, including fresh fish and seafood, grilled meat, stews, bull's tail and home made desserts of the highest quality and presentation.
