The fact that there is also a Dauro Hotel was confusing - arriving late at night not knowing language or location. If I return to Granada I would certainly stay in Dauro II again.

A good 3 Star hotel in a great location. The reception staff were always helpful and friendly. The room was big enough and the bed confortable but there were no drawers for clothes needed by those staying more than two or three nights.
There was sometimes a little noise outside but, if necessary, it could be blocked out by closing the excellent double glazed windows and switching on the air conditioning.
The breakfast could have been better.

Chikito, Pilar del Toro and Salinas all provided great food. Thought Tapas offerings were overated. Explore the Albayin, and visit the Cathedral, Capilla Real and the monastries as well as the Alhambra.

The hotel is ideally situated. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The room was very comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance of the cathedral (a must see), shops and the Albaicin area. A short taxi or bus ride takes you up to the Alhambra. The hotel restaurant is good value for money for snacks and basic meals. There are also several restaurants and bars very close by.

the hotel was in a great location for seeing all that Granada has to offer. some of the facilities in the hotel ie the hairdryer did not work but otherwise an all round great stay.
Top Tip
see the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada resort, take public transport cheap and much easier than driving, if travelling from Granada airport take the bus to the city only 3 euros and quick

Should you have half-board, then I would recommend that you have lunch rather than dinner. The food and service are good but the restaurant is a cafeteria and lacks the atmosphere that is appropriate for dinner.
